This is the only studio where I know I can take any class with any teacher and have a great experience. Kirsten’s entire staff is incredible at offering modifications based on ability level so each person can do what feels right to them throughout the class. Every time I leave I feel like each individual student had the best class they could, regardless of their skill level. I always walk out feeling great!

When you walk into the Monadnock Building, where our studio is located, you will instantly feel like you have travelled to a different time.

By either taking the elevator or walking up 3 flights of stairs, you will find us on the third floor in suite 362. We are easy to find--the building is just a simple rectangle, so it is impossible to make any wrong turns!

You can expect a welcoming atmosphere, no extra fees to use yoga mats, and intimate, cozy classes with 12 students or less. Because of our smaller class sizes, you will receive much more personalized attention from our experienced teachers.

This studio is a great place for:

  • beginners to embark upon their yoga journey,

  • people seeking healing, pain relief and wisdom through yoga,

  • seasoned yogis to explore the therapeutic benefits of yoga and deepen their connection to their practice.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class time if possible. Late arrival to class is allowed up to 5 minutes after the start of class time. Email Kirsten directly if you have any questions.

What to Bring/Wear

There is a changing room located within the studio, and a restroom down the hallway.  Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement. Our studio does not have access to a shower. Our lunch hour and morning classes are designed for people going back to work--so these classes, especially, do not require a shower afterwards . For some classes, such as the 30 minute meditation class or Yoga Nidra, you may even come in your work attire.

You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat if you own one, but we have mats that you can use free of charge. We are also fully stocked with other yoga props (straps, blocks, blankets, bolsters).

Pre-registration for classes is required. Our classes are small and personalized, therefore space is limited.

When you book your first class, you will be asked to create an account through MindBody. If you have been here before, don’t create a new account--search for your name and create a login and password.

Any promo codes can be entered at checkout on our online store.

Pre-registration for any workshops or special events is also required, as our studio space is intimate and we sell out quickly.

Public transit is easiest if this is an option for you, as we are extremely accessible by all “L” trains. However, if you must drive, the area has many options for parking.

We have found these lots (below) to have reasonable rates, especially for entrance in the afternoon and evening Monday-Friday and on the weekends. Rates may vary, so it is recommended to go to their website or call for current information.

  1. Dearborn Parking Lot: 412 S. Dearborn;  (312) 663-3951 (call--no website)

  2. South Loop Self-Parking: 318 S. Federal; (312)-986-5813

Studio clients often use or to book spots at one of the many lots in the area at a lower rate.
